Fire Inspections
Every building in Rhinelander except for 1 and 2 family dwellings must have two fire inspections every year. Rhinelander firefighters complete over 1,500 fire inspections annually.
Public Education
Every year firefighters go to schools, nursing homes, and buisnesses to teach the public about fire saftey. Firefighters go to every school and day care in the city and talk to students about fire saftey. Firefighters also observed fire drills every year in the schools. Firefighters also visit nursing homes and buisnesses to talk about fire saftey.
Demos
Firefighters also teach the public how to properly use fire extinguishers using live fire. If you have a buisness and would like us to come for a demonstation call us at 365-5400.
